Un innesto fecondo.

Una consulenza con Lorna Smith Benjamin.

Abstract
In questo articolo viene riportato un caso presentato alla Benjamin nel corso del Master intitolato “ANSIA, RABBIA E DEPRESSIONE “IT’S ABOUT BROKEN HEARTS, NOT BROKEN BRAINS”, che si è tenuto nel mese di maggio di quest’anno a Roma all’interno del Complesso monumentale Santo Spirito in Sassia.
Questa Consulenza con la Benjamin mette in luce l’importanza dell’empatia non solo all’interno della relazione terapeutica ma anche nel contesto della Consultazione.
Attraverso l’empatia è possibile vedere la vita, come dice la Benjamin, con gli occhi del paziente ma anche la consultazione con la Benjamin ha come ingrediente speciale l’empatia; è necessario che Lorna riesca a percepire non solo i fantasmi che popolano la mente del paziente e che, possono materializzarsi, nel qui ed ora della consultazione, nella mente del terapeuta, ma che il terapeuta riesca a vedere il paziente con gli occhi della Benjamin, lasciandosi guidare e condurre lungo un percorso di conoscenza per compiere un viaggio emozionale attraverso il quale è possibile acquisire una maggiore consapevolezza di se stessi e delle paure e desideri del paziente.
Perché ciò accada è necessario che anche il terapeuta si mostri in tutta la sua umanità, evidenziando i punti di fragilità del percorso terapeutico e sia disponibile a mettersi in gioco con il desiderio di ampliare i propri punti di vista.
In questo caso, la Consultazione con la Benjamin mi ha consentito di riuscire a scorgere con uno sguardo più profondo un aspetto a cui non avevo attribuito l’attenzione necessaria, consentendo che sul mio lavoro si innestasse, con una riflessione più profonda, rispetto a quella che avevo già fatto, la pianta, ricca di frutti, del “dono d’amore”.

Abstract
This article contains a case presented to Benjamin during the Master’s degree entitled “ANSIA, RABBIA E DEPRESSIONE “IT’S ABOUT BROKEN HEARTS, NOT BROKEN BRAINS”, which was held in May this year in Rome inside the Monumental Complex Holy Spirit in Sassia.
This advice with Benjamin highlights the importance of empathy not only within the therapeutic relationship but also in the context of the Consultation.
Through empathy it is possible to see life, as Benjamin says, with the eyes of the patient but also consultation with Benjamin has as a special ingredient empathy; It is necessary that Lorna could perceive not only the ghosts that populate the patient’s mind and that, they can materialize, in the here and now of the consultation, in the therapist’s mind, but also that the therapist could see the patient with Benjamin’s eyes, letting yourself be guided and lead along a path of knowledge to make an emotional journey through which it is possible to acquire a greater awareness of oneself and the fears and desires of the patient.
For this to happen, the therapist must also show himself in all his humanity, highlighting the fragility points of the therapeutic path and be willing to get involved with the desire to broaden his own points of view.
In this case, the Consultation with Benjamin allowed me to be able to see with a deeper look an aspect to which I had not given the necessary attention, allowing my work to be grafted, with a deeper reflection, than in what I had already done, the fruit-rich plant of the “gift of love”.
